There are a large number of seaside resorts in Britain, but none of them can claim the popularity of Blackpool. Located on England’s north-west coast, it’s home to a huge number of hotels, guest houses, restaurants, bars and attractions. The famous Pleasure Beach is a must-visit, especially if you have young children with you. At night, the town’s seafront comes alive thanks to the stunning illuminations.
This stunning island is located off the north-west coast of Wales, and it has been a popular holiday destination for many decades. Among the many locations that are worth visiting you’ll find Beaumaris Gaol, a former prison that’s now an authentic museum. For stunning views of the surroundings, take a trip to the beautiful (and isolated) South Stack Lighthouse, which is located on the western coast.
This series of inter-connected waterways in East Anglia are popular with tourists from the UK and abroad, especially those who are particularly fond of picturesque countryside. There are a number of stunning villages in the region, many of which are home to restaurants and pubs that enjoy spectacular views of the Broads. The nearby city of Norwich, and its majestic cathedral, is also worth a visit.
